The McDonald Series wines are an expression of both their fruit and the vision of their namesake winemaker. Hand harvested and gently whole bunch pressed to craft a finely textured, complex and age-worthy style of Sauvignon Blanc. Vibrant flavours of quince, nectarine, pink grapefruit and elderflower are complimented by a flinty minerality, notes of roasted cashew nut and a subtle creaminess derived from wild fermentation and lees aging in French oak.

Found in 1897, Church Road combines traditional winemaking techniques with modern thinking and innovation to craft premium, complex wines. Grown predominantly on their cooler Matapiro vineyard, this site produces vibrant, flavourful Sauvignon Blanc. Passionfruit, elderflower, grapefruit and herbal undertones are carried on a finely textured palate, enhance with a touch of new French Oak.

On the nose, nashi pear and white blossom greet you with supporting notes of citrus and candied ginger. On the palate, the wine is concentrated and poised with bright flavours of pear and lychee. A full bodied luscious palate with a juicy acidity carries through the palate giving the wine great drinkability and pairing with a variety of spicier dishes.

This is a medium bodied and elegant Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. Its flavour profile is a mix of stonefruit, grilled nuts, grapefruit and yeasty nuances. It is both complex and delicious.

This is a fresh and elegant style of Pinot Gris with aromas and flavours of pear, red apple, citrus and baking spices. Time on lees has built gentle texture and added complexity to this wine. A hint of residual sugar balances the acidity, it finishes dry with good persistence.

This Rosé is a beautiful pale luminescent pink, dry to taste with aromas and flavours of redcurrants, strawberry and fresh picked herbs.

The nose is bursting with melons, peach and ripe tropical and citrus fruits, followed by a generous fruit-driven palate. Classic Chardonnay roundness, giving a mouth-filling finish.
